Training and Experience

I teach belly dance as a dance class for women who want to learn the art of belly dance including hen parties and expectant mothers.. I also teach it as a therapy dance utilising the belly dance movements in a way that activates the chakras and releases blocked energy, my unique style offers healing, self-awareness and transformation. I have studied meta-physics and esoteric teachings for several years, my work is a culmination of 11 years of research into Goddess teachings of all cultures, womens mysteries and sacred dance rituals.

I also perform at Weddings, private parties, events, barmitzvahs, corporate entertainment etc.

Recent events attended include the Wellbeing of Women conference at the London College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

I originally trained in Egyptian dance also called Raqs Sharqui, which is the correct name for belly dance meaning dance of the orient, also called 'danse du ventre' meaning dance of the stomach. As a student I became familiar with well known Egyptian belly dancers such as Samia Gamal from the 1950's, and contempory dancers such as Fifi Abdou, Nagwa Fouad and Soheir Zaki. I also became familiar with oriental dance rhythms such as moksum, masmoudi, saiidi, fulahi.
